Who Needs to Know the Most?
A job well done. Leaders should notice and praise for this accomplishment. Getting the job done in a consistent manner is a great accomplishment. It is not a light thing. However it sometimes becomes common place because it occurs every day. What a shame.
One of the hardest things to do is to keep a high level over and over. Just look at sports where a team is a champion one year and goes down the next. Or an athlete can do nothing wrong at one time and them look like he or she has never played the game. In business the days can go very smoothly and then a day comes along where everything goes wrong. Still the people doing the job are amazing. They get the problems resolved and they get everything on track again. Then they keep it going.
Even though the leaders should notice be sure to notice yourself. Know the job you do and know that you do it well. Do not be conceited about it but instead take joy in a job well done each day. At the end of the day know that you gave your best. Even if someone doesn’t notice, even if they should, you noticed.
